ValienteHernandez P.A. participates in the peer review program sposored by the AICPA, the premier group of practices in the United States of America. We have obtained clean reports in all seven triennial reviews undertaken.

We are members of: Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS), Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC), and Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.

All of our professional staff are members of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). We actively participate in educational progams, legislative and promotional activities sponsored by the FICPA. Our founding partner Jose E. Valiente is a member of the board of governors and is President-Elect as of July 1 2008.

Our professional employees are participating members of the GFOA, and utilize the resources afforded by membership principally for inquiries as to technical issues in accounting and presentation of governmental financial statements.

All members of our audit department are members of the FGFOA. We utilize the resources of this association for professional education and networking.

ValienteHernandez P.A. subscribes to the recuring publications issued by the GASB, and utilize these as authority for presentation of governmental financial statements.

The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce is the prinicpal business related institution within the Tampa area.

Jose E. Valiente, founding member of ValienteHernandez, is a former Chairman and long standing board member of this important organization.

The Ybor City Chamber of Commerce is the prinicpal business related institution within the Ybor City National Historic District (designated by the U.S. Department of the Interior as significantly contributing to the history of the nation).

Gil Hernandez, founding member of ValienteHernandez, is a former Chairman and long standing board member of this important organization.
